Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 (Mahler arr.)

Experience the thrill and glory of this triumph of humanity. In a centerpiece concert of the season, Michael Francis will conduct the powerful Mahler arrangement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 for an awe-inspiring Ode to Joy, featuring The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. The concert opens with the hauntingly beautiful Adagio from Mahler’s unfinished Symphony No. 10, a deeply emotional piece that showcases the composer’s late, poignant genius.

Free Pre-Concert Conversations: Start 1 hour before the performance in the concert hall. Sponsored by The Ruth & J O Stone Foundation.
