January 1, 2005In 1993, The Class Acts Educational Series was created to benefit Pinellas County Schools. At first, there were roughly five performances a year with an attendance of 500 students. Now, the program is flourishing with 15 shows a season to more than 25,000 happy and eager students! Studies show that providing students with an art related outlet can keep children’s minds full of creativity well into adulthood. By bringing schools to the theater, it provided classrooms with an immersive educational experience that would stick with students long after they had returned to the school buses and headed home. The Class Acts program is still alive today and continues to bring thought provoking, intriguing educational content to Pinellas County and beyond!
